The Edgun Leshiy II has packed even more into an already small space. Unfortunately, the factory shroud core is not very well optimized, and this combined with the considerable power-to-size ratio of this little monster, means the stock configuration is quite loud.
As with our Leshiy Classic core this is a drop-in replacement for the factory shroud core which considerably improves sound attenuation. While various designs were tested we finally settled on a similar design to the Leshiy Classic design, with improvements to suit the unique shape and airflow characteristics. The backbone of the core is made from 20% carbon fiber reinforced polyamide, selected for its exceptional strength, ability to withstand impact, and solvent resistance. The bore is precision reamed to ensure accuracy. Bore diameter options are caliber specific for .177, .22, .25 and 0.30 cal.
The Standard Version fits both 250mm and 350mm barrel models and the Extended Version works ONLY when the rifle is modified by fitting a 250mm barrel and the shroud from a 350mm barrel version. The Extended Version further improves sound attenuation over the Standard Version.
Included with each core is an additional dual density foam damper insert meant to be installed at the back of the shroud to provide additional damping.
The Action Cover is another accessory developed during our Leshiy II testing that covers the magazine and action once once the rifle is unfolded, it offers a modest improvement in sound suppression by restricting and diverting air that escapes around the cylinder. It also functions as a dust cover.
Please note, while we try to keep cores in stock for immediate shipment, some may be built to order, a process which takes two weeks. All designs are considered experimental.

Installation
Installation is simple. CONFIRM YOUR RIFLE IS CLEAR, SAFED, AND STOCK FOLDED OR REMOVED. Remove the shroud assembly then the front cap by removing the two tension bolts on the muzzle end cap. To remove the stock core just remove the two M4 screws securing it to the front end cap and slide it off. Installing the core is the same, slide it over the tension rods and secure with the two M4 screws using the included tight clearance allen wrench. To install the rear damping foams first install the blue high density damping foam into the matching outline in the rear endcap with the smooth side facing backwards using the bamboo rod to manipulate if needed. The purple foam is installed the same way pushed all the way to the back of the shroud. After reassembly it’s prudent to look down the bore from the chamber end and make sure everything looks concentric and aligned.
Testing
Factory Shroud Core - 500+ (Clip)
This trace shows the performance of a bone stock Leshiy II short version in .25 as supplied from the factory. The exact reading is unknown because it was loud enough to exceed the max volume (500) of our meter. This example produced 812fps w/ a JSB King 25.39gr .25 caliber pellet, or 37.18 foot pounds, using the 250mm barrel.
Upgrade Core - 180 (avg)
This trace shows the exact same gun in the exact same short 250mm barrel configuration, but now with our upgraded core.
Upgrade Core w/ 350mm shroud - 148 (avg)
This trace (scale is half of above traces) shows the exact same gun as above, but now with the longer shroud installed from the 350mm barrel version. This is using our extended upgrade core that uses the additional space from the longer shroud to extend the available moderator length and volume considerably.
