Picatinny Rail to Arca Swiss Tripod Adapter
There has been surprising demand for a manufactured version of our 3D printable Arca Swiss to picatinny rail adapter digital files. They are a very lightweight, convenient, and tool-less way to adapt from a picatinny rail to the standard Arca Swiss tripod clamp. For improved strength, these are not printed, but moulded polymer. They also have two additional legs, six in total, again to increase strength and load bearing area. Finally, as an option, we’re offering this in 10% glass fiber reinforced polymer which further enhances strength.
Never the less, caution should be taken when using these. The part can fail, tripods can tip over, balls can slip, and the Arca clamp itself can slip. You’re perching what is likely a sizable investment of delicate and potentially dangerous equipment 5 feet off the ground, so take a moment to ensure everything is balanced, tightened properly, and working within safe parameters just like you would if you were mounting a camera!
The color for our standard polymer is black. Our standard glass fiber reinforced version is an off-white ivory. Custom colors, including metallics and fluorescents, are available. Please message us to inquire.
