Custom Build - Strike of Hyperion in Red

Red Strike of Hyperion 

This was an interesting build. We were approached by a customer looking for a long range thrower in red for coyote hunting. After some consultation, the Strike was settled on as a host, but of course modified for red. Running a dedomed XP-E2, the light is efficient and has an exceptionally long run time. There were a few little interesting twists and turns in this build. including the need to refocus the light for red. 

So far as I can tell, none of the companies who make a product like this really list empirical performance data, but there is a good chance based on relative efficiency and frontal surface area that we inadvertently built one of the most powerful red throwers for it's size in the world. As it stands though, this setup illuminates out beyond distances most people would be willing/able to accurately shoot a coyote at night so......
